BOYLE HEIGHTS - Youth Leadership & Career Development
Youth Council
Participants provide insight to our organization by giving their input on the types of services they would like us to implement. Members do extensive community service hours and have the opportunity to participate in fundraising events which will go towards recreational activities and visiting universities outside their local area that require overnight stay. Youth council meets every other Monday from 3:00 - 4:00pm at the Tech Center.

Financial Literacy
These economic times have lead to financial hardship because of lack of savings and investments. Participants will learn the Dos and Don’ts of managing their money. They will attend workshops which will cover Credit Cards 101, how to invest your money at an early age, knowing the difference between ‘needing’ something and ‘wanting’ something, and how to open a bank account that works for you.
